Toys for Tots
This year, there are children in Central Iowa who won't receive any gifts this holiday season. RE/MAX Real Estate Group is one of the many drop-off sites for this organization. The Toys for Tots program has traditionally been one of the most nationally recognized non- profit programs in the United States. From its inception in 1947, the program has continuously provided a means for needy children. Last year, the Des Moines Toys for Tots program donated nearly 82,000 toys to 195 different organizations in Central Iowa. Thousands of children received toys as a result of the hardworking individuals who make this program a success. During the month of November please feel free to stop by our office to drop off your Toys for Tots gift. We have a box in our office where your present can be dropped off for the children. We collect toys for boys and girls, newborn to 17 years old. What they ask for is an unwrapped new toy for children of these age groups. The last week in November RE/MAX Real Estate Group takes our box to the Toy Warehouse, which is the KCCI Channel 8 News Studio.

Children Miracle Network
RE/MAX International has been a sponsor of Children's Miracle Network since 1992 and has raised more than $56 million since that time, making them the second largest sponsor. The Miracle Home® program generates the most donations. A Miracle Home creates an opportunity for the Sales Associate to make a pledge to the Children's Miracle Network member hospital aligned with his/her office when that particular home is listed or sold. In addition, RE/MAX Real Estate Group hosts a Golf Outing every year to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network. Our agents, their family and friends, and our closest vendors participate to provide a great turnout and donation. RE/MAX Associates generated more than $8.1 million in donations last year alone. Festival of Trees
The Festival of Trees is an annual fundraising event for Blank Children's Hospital. It occurs each year during the week of Thanksgiving. Every year trees are donated and offices in the area can purchase a tree and decorate that tree in a theme and then the trees are auctioned off. RE/MAX Real Estate Group purchases two trees every year, then we have a drawing and an agent of ours gets to keep the tree. This year the Festival of Trees and Lights raised more than $250,000 in support of Child Life and the Center for Advocacy and Outreach.

MS Walk
Multiple sclerosis is a chronic, often disabling disease of the central nervous system. Symptoms may be mild such as numbness in the limbs or severe – paralysis or loss of vision.

Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50 but the unpredictable physical and emotional effects are life long. More than 350,000 people in the United States have this mysterious disease. RE/MAX Real Estate Group agents participate in the MS Walk every year. Windsor Wonderland
This is a community celebration for the Holiday Season put on by the Windsor Heights Chamber each year. The festive event features a variety of entertainment all weekend including bands, breakfast with Santa, local high school and church concerts, ice carvings, carriage rides, and many more activities.
